With its growing success in newspapers throughout the United States, Back 2 Basics has decided to completely
overhaul its advertising options by offering a unique package for a significantly reduced advertising fee.
Five dollars a month. That's it.
Now what you get in return is the following:
- The option to run either a banner ad or a square ad on every page throughout the site (see below for further details)
- A guarantee that your ad will appear in its respective position for one month, at a frequency that is determined by the demand for that month (see below for further details)
Banner Ad
This is a 468x60 banner ad that runs at the top of all pages on the site, right below to two rows of buttons
(see fig. 1). This space is the most widely seen out of all advertising options. It is also the most popular
among advertisers, meaning there is more of a chance that the ad will be part of a rotation, and not fixed
throughout the month.
Square Ad
The 150x300 square ad appears in various locations on almost every subpage, as well as in the comment
submission boxes (an area which gets a lot of traffic).
The One-Month Guarantee
As stated above, a flat fee of 5$ guarantees that your ad will run on Back 2 Basics for one month.
However, the fee does not guarantee a number of impressions, nor does it promise a frequency in which
the ad will appear on the site. These statistics depend entirely on the number of ads which are running
for the month, and the mood of the readership.
